Nene Yamagishi

Born in 2003 in Kawaguchi City, Saitama Prefecture, Japan.

Graduated from Meguro Academy Junior High School and Omiya Koryo High School Music Department. In spring 2022, at the age of 18, moved to Europe. In the same year, passed the entrance exam for the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Poland (the only Asian).

Started learning piano at the age of 3 under the guidance of mother. Studied under notable mentors such as Shinko Goto, Kana Goto, Miki,Takagi, Kei Tajiri, Susumu Aoyagi, Jakub Tuszyński, and Elżbieta Karaś Krasztel. Achieved top rankings in numerous domestic competitions since childhood.

Recent international awards include the Gold Prize in the European International Competition for High School Students, 2nd place in the Chopin Avenue International Competition, 3rd place in the BTHVN Wien Competition, and a Special Prize in the Birmingham International Competition. Selected for master classes at the 17th Ojika International Music Festival and the 42nd and 43rd Kirishima International Music Festivals, and performed at student concerts. Performed in numerous concerts at venues such as the Embassy of Japan in Poland while in Poland.
